Agenda: Combating Gender-Based Violence (GBV) in Conflict Zones
Gender-based violence (GBV) in conflict zones remains one of the most severe human rights violations, with women and girls disproportionately affected. In regions of armed conflict, sexual violence, trafficking, and exploitation are often weaponized, increasing the suffering of vulnerable populations. This committee will focus on creating comprehensive frameworks for intervention, justice, and prevention, emphasizing the role of peacekeeping forces, international law, and community empowerment to combat GBV and ensure the protection of women in conflict zones.

Shreya Dubey is a vibrant individual who finds much of her interest in the field of social welfare and community service and finds herself vocal for rights of women and children, currently pursuing her bachelors in History from University Of Delhi. She was a nominated tedx speaker, 3 times national olympiad winner, An esteemed orator in Delhi Circuit and currently serving as President at Tejas For Change. In addition to this she's an active part of 5+ NGOs and 7+ student based initiatives along with a keen interest in Psychology, Research, Marketing, Public Relations and Policy Making.
