Agenda: Discussing China’s involvement in Territorial Disputes with Taiwan including the South China Sea
The People’s Republic of China with its growing military presence and expansive territorial claims has taken the center stage in the Asia - Pacific region. As Chinese ambitions appear to increase, the future stability of this region and the world is in the hands of the members of this cabinet of the JCC. In this Joint Crisis Committee, members of the cabinet will strive to create a balance between fulfilling their nation’s interest and maintaining geopolitical relations while their actions will further be met with international responses.

Chairperson- Kartikey Baid
Kartikey Baid is a final year law student from National Law University Jodhpur. He has been editor-in-chief of the Centre for Policy and Research Blog. He has done multiple conferences as delegate, chair and part of the organising committee.


Vice Chairperson- Ivy Khati
Ivy, a Humanities student and passionate debater, champions the power of the spoken word. With five years of MUN experience and a keen interest in international politics, history, and economics, she has excelled in national and international debate competitions. An MCGS alumna, she served as President of the English Debating Society and Deputy Secretary-General of MCGSMUN. Aspiring to study law, she was a finalist for the Indian Debating Team. Beyond academics, Ivy is dedicated to Kathak and deeply compassionate toward animals, shaping her empathetic outlook and commitment to both intellectual and artistic pursuits.
