Agenda: Addressing the Global Cost of Living Crisis with Special emphasis on Hyperinflation/ Recession in the near future.
The global cost of living crisis, increased by rising inflation, economic instability, and geopolitical tensions, poses significant challenges to millions worldwide. Countries facing hyperinflation and the increasing threat of recession are experiencing severe impacts on poverty, access to basic goods, and economic growth. This committee will focus on developing solutions to mitigate the effects of inflation and recession, exploring fiscal policies, social safety nets, and global economic cooperation to restore stability and reduce the economic strain on affected nations.

Chairperson- Rachit Goel
Rachit is a final-year undergraduate student at Shri Ram College of Commerce, University of Delhi. He has been a part of the MUN community for half a decade, working as a delegate, organizer, and executive board member for dozens of MUNs. He is passionate about politics, especially those surrounding international security concerns. In addition, Rachit has a very comprehensive way of tackling issues you will not be able to see anywhere else. He has cultivated this sense through immense experience and knows his way around a conference. Rachit is excited about the conference and wishes the candidates the best.


Vice Chairperson- Rakshan Bhat
Rakshan Bhat, a 3rd-year Economics student at Shri Ram College of Commerce, is a seasoned participant in Model United Nations. With a keen interest in international affairs and diplomacy, he began his MUN journey during his school days. Over the years, Rakshan has actively engaged in various MUN conferences, honing his negotiation, public speaking, and research skills. He has consistently demonstrated leadership and a strong understanding of global issues, representing different countries and advocating for informed and collaborative solutions. Rakshan's dedication to MUNs showcases his commitment to understanding the complexities of international relations and fostering constructive dialogue.
