Founded in 2012, the Mayo College Girls’ School Model United Nations conference has continually worked to inspire and empower youth to shape a better tomorrow, and strive to explore their boundaries. The inaugural edition marked its beginnings with 150 delegates across five foundational committees, laying the groundwork for what has become a hallmark event in the MUN circuit, only to proudly announce having hosted more than 2000 delegates and future leaders.

 

Now in its 13th edition, MCGSMUN 2025 returns with an expanded range of committees and agendas,  which reflect the complexities of the current geopolitical matters. This year’s conference focuses on addressing critical global issues, shedding light on the disparities and challenges that define the evolving world.

 

At MCGSMUN 2025, delegates will have the opportunity to engage in rigorous debate, thought-provoking agendas, and interesting committees. By looking at the complexities of international relations and the nuances of diplomacy, participants will develop better insights into the mechanisms of global governance while developing creativity and collaboration.
